Acknowledgements
Expedition 2012 is grateful to the many supporters of our cause. We are using this space to recognize a few who have already given extraordinarily of their time and resources to help us realize this project. This list is likely to grow in the coming months, so we would like to thank all of our supporters in advance for helping us realize Expedition 2012; your willingness to help the other fellow is an integral part of our efforts.
Hans Carlson: Hans invested huge amounts of time and energy in the manufacture of the new form that will be used to build the canoes for Expedition 2012. His dedication to this project and to the construction of our prototype boat was truly amazing and we are incredibly thankful for his efforts.
Schuyler Thomson: Schuyler has opened up his shop and his home to Expedition 2012. His support and expertise have been and will continue to be truly invaluable as we proceed with our boat building efforts.
Tim Tadlock: In order to flesh out or itinerary for the trip, we needed topographical maps covering Vermont and much of Quebec and Ontario. Tim was able to give us access to these maps and help us print the ones we needed. His assistance in this capacity and his advice in many others is greatly appreciated.
Bruce Ingersoll: Expert knowledge of Canada’s wilderness is critical for our planning purposes. Bruce has both given us his own expertise in this regard and helped us track down other valuable sources of information.
Cathy Rasenberger: Cathy has been greatly helpful in connecting us with ways to publicize Expedition 2012 and generate large scale exposure for our mission. Specifically, her help in connecting with Outside Television has led to formal plans for Expedition 2012 to be covered on that network.
Keith Wilkerson: Fund raising is new for most of us, but thankfully we have been able to turn to Keith for expertise in that arena. He has helped us develop strategies for reaching our goals and has provided considerable enthusiasm for these efforts. It’s a good thing we have Keith on our side.
Peter Hare: Underlying our entire effort has been consistent support from Pete. From the beginning, Pete’s support made us begin to think that this mission could actually be achieved. For all the many ways that he has believed in us and backed our cause, we are grateful.
